Adult Sunday School

Harvest is committed to equipping our members to be disciples who care deeply about Scripture and theology, and stirring our members to live out the implications of our theology in their families, neighborhoods, and workplaces. Our leaders take this commitment seriously and adult Sunday school provides one, important avenue for us to pursue this commitment.

Adult Sunday school classes meet most Sundays at Harvest, before the worship service, between 9:15 am and 10:15 am. There are normally two or more adult Sunday school classes that run simultaneously during the Sunday school hour. Sunday school classes change each quarter. A quarter runs eight weeks and there are two quarters each fall, two each spring, and one 8-week semester in the summer. Whether you’re new to Christianity, or looking to grow in spiritual and theological maturity, we have Sunday school classes for everyone.

You can see check out all of our active adult Sunday Sunday school classes, and sign up to participate (though sign up is not necessary to attend), by clicking ‘view more information’ to the right or looking under ‘announcements’ below.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • The Westminster Standards Theology Class: For the current quarter, The Westminster Standards theology class is studying what our doctrinal standards say about The Bible, God, Creation, and the Fall. For those who would like to study our theology on these topics, through the lens of the Westminster Standards, join us in room #11 on Sundays at 9:15 am.

  • Reading the Prophets: Understanding the Old Testament Prophetic Books: Have you ever tried to read prophets like Isaiah, Ezekiel, or Nahum, but weren't quite sure what to take away from them? Or, have you had trouble even making sense of what the prophets are saying? The goal of this Sunday school class is to explore the Old Testament prophetic literature, and to provide principles and reading strategies for reading the prophets well. This class meets each week in classroom #12.
