As New Testament Christians, how should we read the Old Testament? Should we skip directly over it to get to the “important” parts of the Bible in the New Testament? Or, should we take everything we read from the Old Testament as applying completely and directly to our lives today?

A study through the book of Joshua wrestles with a lot of those questions. This sermon from Revelation 21:1–8 serves as an epilogue to the Joshua series to wrap up three questions that still might be hanging from trying to wrestle with the text of Joshua as God-inspired Scripture, profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16).
