Child Protection Plan at Harvest

Harvest Community Church takes child safety seriously. Toward that end, the session has been working with the Hospitality Ministry Team and the Children’s Ministry Team to adopt a Child Protection Policy. The goal for this policy is to ensure that we seek the safety and well-being of every person in our church, but especially the children who are most vulnerable and in need of protection.

You can download Harvest’s Child Protection Policy (CPP) here. If you have questions, please contact the session.

Note: The session has appointed the next three months (September through November, 2017) as a transition time to get all of our disciple-makers through the child safety training that this policy requires. Disciple-makers who have successful undergone background checks will still be serving in our Sunday School, nursery services, etc., and will be going through this training as soon as possible.

More information on child safety training will be coming in the near future.
